We stayed on a Resorts of Distinction reservation and paid nothing (50 amp service and TengoInternet wireless were included). Great park within easy access to New Orleans. It is located in a grove of mature southern pine trees with lots of grass. Sites and roads are gravel surfaced that are well maintained, no dust while we were there. The lakes are very nice. The new owners continue to make improvements. Wireless internet reception was good and our Alltel/Verizon signal was strong. Highway 435 from Abita Springs to the park was no problem for our 36 ft. 5th wheel, however, a newly constructed traffic circle in town was tight for our rig and was a bit confusing. Rather than continuing straight on Level Rd., it is better to go around the circle and head north on Maple St./Highway 36 for one block and turn right on Main St. This is the truck route through town for Highway 435. Initially, we made a wrong turn and went south on Highway 36. There was no opportunity to turn around until the airport which is about 3.5 miles from the traffic circle. When we got back to town, it was impossible to make the turn onto Level St. from the traffic circle so we found the alternate route described above by mistake. It turned out to be the better route. We will definitely stay here again if we return to this area.

Ditto to previous reviews; can't get much better than this. We stayed on a Resorts of Distinction reservation. The $1/day fee was for TengoInternet Wi-Fi service which was very good. Cable is not available as the commercial service has not reached the park yet. They are wired for it so it's just a matter of time. We will definitely stay here again.

A Very nice campground and RV park. We stayed on an Resorts Of Distinction reservation, $2 fee was for cable hookup. Lots of families on the weekends. Fishing with resort permit, $9 adult, $6 children. State permit is not required. The lakes are stocked with trout and catfish but have other species also. The roads are paved, the sites are not. They lost their Wifi service provider. Verizon and Alltel cell signals are good. There are three pools, and one is adult only. The restaurant has full menu but has limited hours in the off season. Backing and leveling are a challenge for big rigs at many sites.

First class in almost every respect! We stayed on an ROD reservation and paid nothing (no extras or add-ons). They say they are the most popular ROD park and I don't doubt it. We were in site 56 near the clubhouse and had a sewer hookup and a good cell signal (Alltel/Verizon). On the down side cell coverage is limited in most of the park. We saw people walking to the clubhouse to use their phones. No cable and almost no TV over the air. The positives more than outweigh these negatives. A few sites are right on the Russian River. Lots of things to do and see nearby: wine country (the park is in Sonoma County and the Napa Valley is about 45 minutes to an hour away), the Pacific coast about 4 miles west (Fort Ross State Historic Park is a must see), small towns with lots of quaint shopping for the ladies, etc. I am looking forward to playing golf at the Northwoods about 8 miles east in Rio Monte. It's a great 9 hole, par 36 course; emerald green in a redwood forest setting along the Russian River. We will definitely stay here if we are ever again in this part of the county.

This is a very good park in a great location off the beaten path about an hour from Lake Tahoe. There are only a few sites with full hookup, and they are in a very tight, confined location away from the river. River sites and roads are not paved and do not have sewer hookups. They offer honey wagon service (on Mondays when we were there) for a fee ($15 for up to 3 pulls). There are three access routes (Shingle Springs and Placerville off Highway 50 and Auburn off I-80), but the Auburn access is not recommended, especially for big rigs. Shingle Springs is a little longer than Placerville but the road is better for big rigs.

A first class resort in all respects. We stayed using our Resorts Of Distinction membership and paid nothing. I had to list $1 to make the web page accept the review. Great location near Yosemite National Park's south entrance. Located in a ponderosa pine forest with oak, young redwood and other trees plentiful. The facilities are well maintained and activities are well organized. Wi-Fi availability is limited but they are expecting to install more antennae soon to make it available throughout the park. The lake is within walking distance and several services including Post Office are available next door at The Pines Village Resort. All services are about 15 minutes away in Oakhurst. Yosemite's entrance is about 15 miles north on Hwy 41 but Yosemite Valley is about an hour drive on this winding 35 mph road once you enter the park. We would definitely stay here again.

We used Resorts Of Distinction for our reservation. We got to Indian Waters on the day they were opening for the season. They were planting the winter grass so things were a little out of the ordinary. The only issue was that the sprinklers were set to go off several times leaving things a little wet most of the time. That should be over by the middle of October. We had site 141 that was in the member area so it is possible to get a site with sewer hookups even if not a member. It had a large carob tree that provided lots of afternoon shade. It was very close to the pool, restrooms, shower, laundry, and activity room. Everything was very well maintained even though it was opening day. We had stayed in the area without sewer hookups previously and it was very nice; new and well designed, plenty of room. It is an RV park in an urban setting so you need to expect things that you would experience in such a setting. On the plus side shopping was nearby and plentiful as were places to eat. Three casinos are within a 10 minute drive. There is some noise but not too noticeable. We would definitely stay there again.

This is our home park and have been members for over 20 years. The park is on Oak Creek about 10 miles down stream from Sedona, AZ, a world renown tourist destination. Being on Oak Creek and so close to Sedona are the biggest pluses for this park. It has giant sycamore trees for shade and several sites are right on the creek. On the down side, they have experienced damaging floods several times over the past 20 years so they seem to be in a perpetual state of rebuilding and have not fully recovered from the last flood. All-in-all this is a great park for us and we will be staying there at least once each year.
